Chef's Studio in Philadelphia
Philadelphia, PA June 5th, 2007 -- In a significant move to a major City Center location, Chef's Studio has begun meeting and conducting interviews in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. Just off Rittenhouse Square you will now find the temporary interview studio of Chef's Studio and Chef's TV. This remote location will be used to meet and interview chefs and food experts, as well as tape segments for Chef's Radio. Because of restrictions no filming of food preparation will take place.
The many culinary schools and restaurants around Philadelphia are proving fertile development ground to meet and learn more about the latest trends. The famous Reading Terminal Market provides advice and insights into the many traditional meats, and prepared foods for which the market has become famous. The huge wholesale food markets provide news and opinions on the supply chain, and what is scarce or a good buy.
Philadelphia has many excellent restaurants, and upcoming chefs.
The plan is to lease the facilities for Chef's Studio in Philadelphia for a year, then look at the viability of locating in the many vacant buildings of the Navy Yard, now a development zone. Facilities have been offered in both the huge historic Navy Yard, and at several locations around the city.
