Chef's Studio Teaches About Wine, Beer And Spirits
Easton, MD (PRWEB) December 7 2003-- - Vin, The International Wine Channel and Wine Ed, the wine educational program, will have a new home at the Chef's Studio on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, in 2004.
"We are very pleased that the State of Maryland has issued us with the required permits to develop programs for wine, beer and spirits." explains Alan Simpson, the creator of the Chef's and Wine programs."Working with the beverage industry, Chef's Studio will host regular wine, beer, and spirits education classes, tastings and programs, as well as create and demonstrate the many flavors from wine, beer and spirits available to the chef."
The issuing of the permits from Maryland enables Chef's Studio, and VinTV to legally receive samples, and new wines, beers and spirits for evaluation, demonstration and use in program development. Already Whisky and Vodka Distilleries are working with the studio to familiarize chefs, and "weekend chefs" with the benefits of their products in smoking and grilling.
Chef's Studio began experimenting with cooking demonstrations using alcoholic beverages in 2000 and have included top chefs from Europe and America.
VinTV, the International Wine Channel was launched at VinExpo in 2002 and will be expanded in 2004.It has interviewed and hosted winemakers and wine experts from around the world, and is working with major wine producing regions on better ways to expand the knowledge, and market for wines and spirits.
WineEd is the program for wine education associated with Vin. It seeks to create a permanent base for the public to learn, and taste the wines and spirits of the world. The WineEd studio will feature multimedia learning experiences to fully explain and explore each wine, along with food/wine pairings.
Chef's Studio is the home for the newly created Chef's TV, and will be developed as a tourist attraction as well as a permanent sites for ongoing demonstrations, exhibitions, workshops and production facilities for culinary, and beverage media.
