National Press Building - Chef's Studio & Chef's TV

Washington, DC -- Oct 28th, 2000 - Alan Simpson has moved into the National Press Building near the White House, in Washington, DC. This new office and studio space will allow us to further develop Chef's Studio and Chef's TV.

The move to Washington, DC is an interesting development phase for the food and wine programs as it brings a whole new dimension of culinary experiences thanks to the Embassies and Federal government presence, and the wide range of receptions and events that fill the social and business calendar.

The original Chef's Studio was created in New Jersey in 1995 to develop better media and sales skills for professional chefs. The next stage was 5 years in Orlando, Florida where the emphasis was on the tourist, against the backdrop of the world's leading tourism destination. Through the invaluable assistance of the major tourism and hospitality properties Alan Simpson and Linda Schnabl-Simpson were able to gain extensive insights into the tastes of the visitors, and in their leisure patterns, especially as regards culinary experiences.

Although the original concept was to develop the media skills, the recent demands have been more for developing the sales skills, and having a more comprehensive coverage of "What's New" for hard working Chef's who can't attend the many Food Shows. Chef's Studio is constantly being developed to meet the needs of the marketplace, and the chefs around the world.
